May Munchies - Southwest Sliders

Ingredients:

1\2 pound lean ground beef, turkey or chicken
1 tsp Mexican chili powder
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, grated

1\2 cup salsa
1\2 avocado
Sliced cheddar, Monterrey jack or your favorite cheese

Instructions:

Place meat in a large bowl

Add remaining seasonings and 1\2 of the salsa to the meat and kneed it together

Shape it into clementine shaped balls and then press into flat disks

Grill on high heat for 3 minutes on each side

Top the burgers with cheese, salsa and slices of avocado
